I’ve been meaning to tell you about this! But from the lack of white in the picture, I’m guessing you’ve known about it for a while. I haven’t ever stopped so I didn’t notice the turret on the house until seeing this picture.
That’s a huge gnome!
Must be pretty scary at nigth,
maybe they used to scare off potential thieves.

I think the gnose on that gnome was broken off within a week of it being carved. I’m not sure if it was malicious, or the grain just split on the piece. I fear the worst.
It’s a pretty epic piece of chainsaw art.
