Carolyn, I like the Miami paintings. The dark foreground in “Everything” and the dark background in “Sushi” add drama. “Pelican Harbor”, “Metro Mover” and the “Apartment” have a great energy created by the skies, the trees and the dog. The patterns and the colors seem to have a more supporting role this time. The paintings feel strong and sure. And alive. Good work.
